Two years ago, @michaeljeremiahkemp told me that he decided to quit his then financially stable job to go back to school. Initially, I was quite trepidatious and almost reluctant to support him because it seemed too brash a decision at the time. I mean who else did I know who pursued this subject aside from my Logic professor? 🤔🤗 But then it got me thinking, "If Michael's not happy with his current situation, why shouldn't he change it? And more importantly if not now, when?". While I wasn't completely smitten with the idea of him going into philosophy, his eyes sparkled with such delight and intrigue, I knew this was a connection I could not reason with nor wanted to. He was eager for change and most importantly happy.
In a world where complacency is an everyday occurrence, he chose to go against what was safe for something he believed in. Even if further down the line it ends up not being what he hoped for or does in the future... A resounding message is imparted: You can't let your fears and doubts hold you back from your life. If there's something you don't like, you are capable of changing your circumstance and it starts with a single choice. Let it drive you forward, building momentum with each action, until you are a force to be reckoned with.
Seriously though- let us appreciate this force of nature though pictured here! I am so proud of you my love❣️ You've worked tirelessly and today you graduate! 🏻 Now let the commencement begin, I'm standing by at the computer!! - 16 days ago
