Aging is so confusing for human psyhe… It seems like just yesterday regular worries like break-outs, uneven tone, pores and other shenanigans were my focus, and all I was thinking about is finding the right combo of products to address there conditions. There was always HOPE, this was potentially FIXABLE! But now, at 42, in addition to all of the above, I am looking at issues like sagging, loss of volume (highly accelerated due to autoimmune and endocrine conditions), lines & wrinkles and the dreaded crepey skin, and I know I will not come out of this battle a winner. I WISH I was one of those women who genuinely OK with aging “gracefully”, but in all honesty - I am just not made this way, period. Which is why I am fascinated by the advances in technology related to aging, bcs in my mind anti-aging is not just skin, but rather yr whole biology. A lot of scientists are now looking at aging as a disease that they set out to cure, and although most of the technologies in development today will most likely be accessible only to the lucky next generation, I can’t help but pay attention anyway. In my chaotic brain, I see it all as levels:

- TOPICALS: We invest in quality natural and or/synthesized topical beauty products: Purists rely on “natural”, “green”, “non-toxic” skincare rooted in various cultural traditions, while some of us prefer scientific approach that utilizes lab-created actives and is backed-up by trials - Acids, Retinoids, vit C and SPF being the golden standard, plus stem cells and peptides being the latest contender.
