Colleen: "It's a pretty straightforward murder mystery, which I usually don't go for. My mom recommended it to me because we were talking about how much we enjoy a good story. She goes through a book a week and we often make recommendations to each other. We're very close and share a lot of experiences – books and reading are a reflection of that. In my twenties, I would have never thought that we would get along so well. She was a stay-at-home mom and was familiar with things like cooking and gardening, which seemed so anti-modern to me. Now that we live together and she helps me take care of my daughter, I really appreciate it. At the same time, she has new freedoms living in New York with me. Our relationships evolve with our experiences. Me in my forties would have surprised me in my twenties."
